
Dr. Lutsky graduated cum laude from Franklin and Marshall College, and received his medical degree from MCP-Hahnemann School of Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at New York University-Hospital for Joint Diseases. He then completed his subspecialty fellowship training in Hand, Upper Extremity, and Microvascular Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis/Barnes Jewish Hospital, where he trained with many of the pioneers and nationally recognized leaders in the field of hand surgery.
Dr. Lutsky’s clinical expertise includes management of trauma and complex fractures of the hand, wrist and elbow, compressive neuropathies such as carpal and cubital tunnel syndromes, peripheral nerve injuries, arthritis of the wrist and hand, and tendon injuries. He has authored several surgical textbook chapters on topics such as rheumatoid arthritis of the wrist, and flexor tendon injury, repair and reconstruction. He has published research on wrist arthroscopy and distal radius fractures, and has presented his research on hand and wrist fractures at national hand surgical conferences. Dr. Lutsky specializes in treatment of complex disorders of the elbow, wrist and hand and uses this expertise to help restore function, alleviate pain, and return patients to active lifestyles.
